DESCRIPTION:
The UCA Planetarium simulates the sky visible to the naked-eye onto a 30-foot diameter dome with a Spitz 512 projector. The seating capacity is 60. The facility is used for astronomy classes and laboratories, field-trip shows, and monthly public shows.

FIELD TRIPS:
Field trip shows are available free to public school groups on Fridays at 10am or 11am. Reservations are required and can be requested by calling 501.450.5900.
PUBLIC SHOWS:
Monthly public shows are usually the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm. Shows include a tour of the evening sky for the given month, updates on astronomical events, and flights through the universe. Admission is free. Seating limited to 60 people on a first come first serve basis. Shows are not recommended for children under 5 years. No admittance once the show has begun.
