Mary Jo Cooley Hidecker, Ph.D., CCC-A/SLP is a speech-language pathologist and audiologist with clinical experience in managing complex communication disorders.

She is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Arkansas.

With a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a M.S. in Epidemiology, Dr. Hidecker wants to improve evidence-based practices, especially in the areas of cerebral palsy and autism.

Her research interests include the relationship among effective treatment outcomes and individual and family factors as well as augmentative and alternative communication.
