Lecture Notes

Outlines for Chapters 01–13 are provided as .pdf documents. If the document does not open in your browser window, check your Downloads folder. It would be a really good idea to print the outline before we start discussing the chapter. There is space left on each page for you to make your own annotations. You might, for example, use the space to jot down a question you had while you were reading. Or maybe solve some example problems on the back of the pages. You should not view the outline as a substitute for attending class. It's not: You get points for coming to class. You don't get points for reading the outline. You will also find the clicker questions posted as we complete them. Since we went over them in class, you should already have the answers.
