Principles of  Biology I (BIOL 1440) homepage A core course for majors and other pre-professionals.  This course introduces students to the molecular and cellular basis of structure and function of organisms.  Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisite: knowledge of high school chemistry, or CHEM 1301 or above. Fall, spring, summer.
