I celebrated my birthday at a UCA tailgate party back in 2000

along with Bonnie Selting and Dave Harvey.

Lisa Mongno and I attended a week long conference at NASA in January, 2001.  We were supposed to actually go in a space shuttle while it was on the launch pad, but on our scheduled day, they were having trouble with the rocket boosters, so we weren't allowed to go.  We did get to drive right up to it though--pretty cool.  I also got to try on a spacesuit and we talked to astronauts, past and present.  Oh yeah, we also learned how to make web pages and movies and we got to visit Celebration, Florida where the high school is one of the most technologically advanced in the USA.  We also rented a Sebring convertible and drove all around, searching for the best sushi.
