On November 29, 2003, the class of '83 of GlenOak High School held its 20th reunion at Shady Hollow Country Club.  Below are some highlights from the evening.

Ed Roshong ('82), Janelle (Mountford) Roshong, me, and Mike DeGeorgia.  Janelle, Mike and I went to school together all 12 years.  Janelle is now a music teacher and Mike is a neurosurgeon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the life of me, I can't think of two of the guys' here names!  Email me if you know!  The second guy is Ted Nekic with Kathy (Turner) Meeks and Todd Miller.  I talked to the other guy for 1/2 an hour--he's living in Long Beach, CA.  Ken is a veterinarian in Columbus; Kathy is an elementary teacher with four boys of her own.

 

 

 

 

 

             

Me and Ken--he was my date for the 8th grade sock-hop.  Back then, I was about 6 inches taller than he was.

Me, Debbie (Zerby), Lori (Spino) and Betsy (Burt).  The first three of us went to school together all 12 years.  Debbie and I were best friends in 1st grade; Lori was my best friend in 5th and 6th grade.  We chased boys together, smoked, stayed out all night once and generally, you just would have thought we were headed for trouble, but we both turned out just fine.  Betsy lives in Illinois now and has a two-year-old.

 Rob Davenport and his wife, Debbie.  Rob and I were in the band together for 6 years (me--french horn; Rob--trombone).  Rob now lives in Twinsburg and--surprise--is a computer programmer.

 Fred Kinney and--can't remember!  Fred lives in NYC now.  That's Dave Hibbard's head on the left--one of the cats in CATS--the real thing!

The spouses--mine, Amy's, Sandy Trbovich's (I think) and Sharon Dodge's.  After the reunion, we all went to The City Grille  along with Laurie Bolan and her husband.

Not the best picture, but here are many of my friends who I went to school with for the whole twelve years, first through twelfth grade.  This was taken at our Fifteenth Class Reunion in Canton, Ohio , August 1998.  Alice (almost seven months pregnant here), Mike, my first love and now a neurosurgeon, me, Joe (also a one-time love), Lori, my best friend for many years, James, Debbie, Chris K. (I was his first real kiss, which we shared at sixth grade camp--what a great three days that was!), Chris A., Jeannie and Kerry.  I'm looking forward the Twentieth!
