Roxette LynnBillity Burley, aka Roxy, was born on October 19, 1990.  She lived a wonderfully spoiled life with her family, getting pretty much everything she ever wanted.  She was an intelligent, courageous, loving boxer who found a friend in everyone she ever sniffed.  She had a vocabulary of nearly 100 words and phrases and could do quite a few tricks.  She loved to go with her dad when he went bike riding, running next to him without ever crossing in front or pulling him off the bike.  Her mom walked her many evenings--or maybe it was Roxy walking her mom.  She loved to lie in the sun, chase basketballs, and she'd swim every chance she got.  She is survived by her parents, Lynn and Bill, her sister Stephanie and brother Bill.  She is fondly remembered by the other boxer lovers in the family: Scott and Shellie and their boxer Candy, and Carol and Dale and their cat Duff, who used to live with Roxy.  Roxy spent her vacations at the homes of Mary Ellen and Bonnie, who took very good care of her and loved her as much as her family did.  She will be sorely missed by us all.

The day we got Roxy.  She was so cute and playful!

Isn't she beautiful?

Roxy was so spoiled, she had her own chair, but she didn't mind sharing it with Duff (on top)

After Roxy's first cancer surgery, she had to wear this bandage for a week or so.  She was such a trooper!

One of Roxy's favorite activities was to go swimming.  Here she is with Bill at MeadEden in Pennsylvania, Bill's cousin, Faith's, place.  We couldn't keep Roxy out of the water although she didn't like to get her ears wet.

Roxy and I on New Year's Eve 2000.  I had surgery on my thumb the week before, but I still managed to hold a champagne glass despite the lovely cast.
