1) Before you can access the discussion group, you MUST set up a WebCT account. This account is free and very easy to establish.

- Go to the continuing education web site by clicking here.

- Click on the Create myWebCT link.

- Fill out the required form (First and Last name and email address)

- Then select a WebCT ID code and type it in the box.

- Then select a password. You must enter it twice as requested.

- WRITE YOUR WebCT ID CODE AND PASSWORD DOWN IN A SAFE PLACE!

- Filling out the hint box at the bottom will also be useful to you if you forget your password.

- Click the "continue" button at the bottom of the form.

2) A dialogue box will come up asking you for your user name and password. These are the same as the WebCT ID code and password that you just selected above. Type these in and press "OK".

3) Now your WebCT page will appear. Click on "add a course" (left side of screen).

4) The Select a Course screen will appear. Now click on "CHEM" in the black menu area.

5) Now, click on Physiological Chemistry II link in the white menu area.

6) DO NOT ENTER YOUR USER NAME AGAIN! Instead, click on the "register" button.

7) A screen should appear stating that the course has been added. Click on "go to course"

CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT!!!
Next time you want to visit the discussion group, all you have to do is click on the discussion group link on my Chem 4121 web page. It will prompt you for your user name and password. Enter these and you will transported to the discussion page.
