Mini-teach  

Directions: Share one specific part of your lesson plan that relates to material/theory discussed in class. You will have approximately 12 minutes. Approach this assignment as if you were providing a professional development activity to a group of educators who need to understand how to put theory into practice.

REQUIRED:    Discussion Board post, written plan, lesson goal, a specific diversity to meet a student need, lesson activity, connection to theory, personal connection, clear explanation.   

Remember, during this presentation, YOU ARE THE TEACHER. This is a chance to practice a new method idea in front of a friendly crowd. Relate your topic to the classroom(pedagogy) and to this course(theory) as much as possible. Also, describe the importance of putting theory into practice on the discussion board.
