My name is Andrew Smith. I am an International Masters in Business Administration major at UCA. I studied in Xalapa, Veracruz this past summer for 6 weeks. I was placed into Spanish 2 in my online exam prior to going to Mexico, but I moved myself down to Spanish 1 so as not to skip any information. My other class aside from Spanish 1 was a Spanish workshop. It was much more advanced and helpful than my Spanish 1 class. While I was in Mexico, I was able to see lots of new places and things, and spent a great deal of time within the true Mexican culture (which was very rewarding). Mexico was a great experience and I can’t wait to return for the Spring semester in Manzanillo, Colima.
