For your presentation:

Tuesday's presentations must be sent to me by E-mail, or hand delivered on digital media, by 6:00 Monday evening prior to the presentation.  Thursday presentations must be delivered to me by Noon the day before (Wednesday).

The presentations should be in PowerPoint, and saved as PowerPoint files, not as web files.

The summaries should be saved as web files.  Do them in Word, then save them as a web file.  It works great!  You will deliver me a printed copy in proper format on the day you do your presentation. When you convert the document to a Web page, it will mess up some of your formatting (like margins), so BE SURE TO GIVE ME THE PAPER COPY.

You must dress nice for these presentations.  The first is just business dress, the second is formal business dress (suit/tie).

The presentations should be between 7 and 10 minutes long.  We have 5 scheduled on each day.

Everyone in your group must participate in some meaningful way at least once (two presentations to get it done).  Yes, I do keep track.  Be smart and play to your strength.  If someone is really good at presenting, let the do most of it.

The summary should contain questions (7 multiple choice).  The questions should stand alone (when I put them on a test, I should not have to specify the context--your question should do that).  You must send the questions to me in the template I provided.  DO NOT provide the answers to your peers in the class.  I am the only one you provide with the answers.

Look, act, and sound professional.  When you read the whole thing, it does not impress me.  Know the material you present, talk about it in a knowledgeable fashion, and keep good eye contact.  To me, it is a serious occasion (formal), so conduct yourself accordingly.  The summary should be written in a professional manner--free of errors, following prescribed format, and coverage should be as described in the specifications.

Students who think that the day they are not presenting is a good day to take off, DON'T DO IT!  Absences on presentation days will count twice.  You must be there to participate in the evaluation of the other presentations--I provide the forms for this in class.

Intra group Peer evaluations must be filled out the day of your presentation.  Failure to turn them in will result in a 0 for the person who fails to turn them in on time.  When I say turn them in, it is not strictly correct--you submit these from a web-based form and they are delivered to my site.

Leave your snacks outside on presentation day.  I don't want drinks, food, etc. in the classroom.

If you have questions, ask me.  I will tell you what I expect.  Your job it to do it!
