Get ready for the next test. If you did in fact learn something about some of the problem solving tools we have studied, then you should recognize their applicability to the test taking process. Undertake some "test process re-engineering." Take what you learned from the experience of Test 1, identify the problem, identify areas for improvement, develop an action plan for Test 2, and do it! That is what good managers do when performance is not up to par. |

Economic Production Lot Size We talk about this in class, but it is not covered by your book. It is another inventory model--a variation of the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) model that is used to determine how much to produce (optimal production lot size) rather than how much to order from a supplier.
