Procedural Notes
- The execution is a little fiddly. Occasionally, after you position the laser on the protractor and click GO, nothing hapens. The beam straight-lines as though there is no change in medium. This is the sim. It is what it is. It doesn't happen often, and you should reposition the laser and fire again. It will fix itself.
- Alignment is key; remind students that they can use the reflected beam to make sure they are properly positioned. If the beam goes in at 30° but reflects through 35°, they have a problem. Again, it's a little fussy but not difficult.
