The Loudness Isn't Linear

This lab is a mostly qualitative exploration of decibel levels. Students will use the sound level meters to record decibel levels at increasing distances from a source, and demonstrate that the loudness does not decrease linearly with distance. Also a discussion/demonstration of high frequency hearing loss with age.
