Chapter 00.09

chapter00.009

Go to the Moon: Orion will still look the same. Go to Mars, or Jupiter, or any of the planets within our solar system, and the constellations will still appear to have the same shapes. But if you go really far–like to a planet orbiting a different star–you could probably see some of the same stars as we see from Earth, but they would not show up in the same patterns. If you go to a different galaxy entirely, the constellations we know would definitely not be visible, and you might not even be able to see any of the stars we see from the Earth.
