MOST are in confined in a region between the orbir of Mars and the orbit of Jupiter. There are plenty more pieces of debris out past Neptune, but these are not considered asteroids (Kuiper Belt Objects, of which Pluto is one, will have a more icy/less rocky composition). There are also two clusters of asteroids leading and trailing Jupiter on its orbit, but they are not the majority.
